Ulrike Wintersteiger has been intensively involved with drawing, painting, and object art since 1999. Over the past 20 years, she has completed various training and continuing education courses, including the Traunkirchen Summer Academy in 2008 in the class of Alois Mosbacher and a workshop with Prof. Arnulf Rainer and Eva + Adele in 2009, also at the Traunkirchen Summer Academy.

In 2017 she participated in the art salon at the Landesgalerie Linz.

In 2020 she participated in the 3+3 Conglomerate Wild Growth · Botanical Garden Linz - joint exhibition at the Kunstforum Salzkammergut.

In 2021 she participated in the art salon at the Schlossmuseum Linz.

In 2021 she was invited to the fountain project by Greiner - in cooperation with Juliane Leitner.

In 2023 she attended the Kunstforum Skgt. reAKTION joint exhibition at the Museum of the City of Bad Ischl.
